Meatheads, And Why Its OK Love Them

Meatheads, And Why Its OK Love Them

When people use or refer to the term "Meathead", its always associated with some dumb ogre in the gym who has no regard for anyone else or their surroundings. I'm here to tell you, that's the farthest thing from the truth. I'm a meathead, some of my best friends are meatheads, and they are guys and girls who are some of the best people in the world.

Now, I do know there are some bad apples out there, that give people reason to think we are a certain way. Guess what, all groups of people have that same issue. There are generally way more good ones than bad. Whoever initially associated meatheads with what we are known for, obviously had a bad experience at some point lol.

Here are a couple examples:

Joe Bennet, who is a world renowned trainer and coach to some Mr. Olympia competitors, refers to himself as a meathead and in reality is not only one of the nicest guys, but in my opinion a genius when it comes to bodybuilding and fitness.

Joey Swole, a IG influencer, trainer and bodybuilder, is considered a meathead. But he is almost single handedly creating a movement to make the gym judgement free, and calls out bullies who use their social media as a way to poke fun and belittle others in the gym.

At the end of the day, there are so many different kinds of people and labels, some good and bad. Are there some bad meatheads, yes but from my experience, there are more good ones than bad. So instead of judging some jacked bro or lady at the gym, take a second to be friendly. Actually beyond that, should be the same for all people. Who knows, you might make a new friend that'll be around for life.....what do you got to lose?

See you all in the Gym!
